Copper wires from 0.04 to 56 mm Ø,
STRECKER offers a comprehensive range of non-ferrous wire butt welding machines from the series Standard, PA, S, MS, MK, KSC and KS.
The range includes conventional resistance butt welding machines, as well as electric double butt welding machines with automatic deburring and cold welding machines (for fine and medium wire diameters, also with a deburring fixture) for joining aluminium, copper and brass wires. STRECKER welding machines ensure precise, repeatable and strong butt welds.
Both manual devices and fully hydraulic welding machines are available depending on the application.
After starting the welding process, the two ends are welded together by the current which then flows and the upset force which is applied. Optionally, preheating is carried out to achieve an optimal temperature profile.
Operation of STRECKER welding machines is easy to learn. They meet the highest standards of convenience and ergonomics. The compact and robust machine design with intuitive operator guidance is designed for industrial use in production. A wide spectrum of welding machines is available for a variety of other non-ferrous metals, such as nickel, bronze, silver, gold, etc.
In the Standard and PA series, the machine is supplied with one clamping jaw set for the complete welding range.
With the S series we focus on the requirements of our customers for the production of larger quantities using semi-automation. Of particular importance here is the direct interaction between man and machine in the feed and discharge steps, taking into account high safety standards.
MS and MK welding machines are designed for wire connections of the highest quality and with documented reproducibility. Even wires with different diameters or of different materials can be welded with a minimized heat-affected zone. The burr is removed in the welding clamping fixture and caught in the machine. The result is a homogeneous, very thin and pore- and burr-free connection. The MS and MK series are equipped with our innovative FullParameterControl (FPC) control system as standard. The complete welding recipe is stored safely and with accurate repeatability in the controller. All settings of the machine are made automatically according to the recipe selected with no operator intervention. As an option, the quality of the welding process can be monitored with the STRECKER parameter monitoring system.
KS and KSC welding machines can be used economically for butt welding wires up to 12 mm in diameter. In this process, no electrical heat is introduced. Our extensive range of customer-specific clamping jaws ensures optimum clamping and upset force. Consequently, the highest strengths can be achieved. With the KS20, deburring takes place in the welding clamping fixture.
Every day, thousands of STRECKER welding machines are used worldwide to produce precise and repeatable butt welds.

Non-ferrous wire butt welding machines
From 0.04 to 60 mm Ø Steel wire butt welding machines
STRECKER offers a comprehensive range of steel wire butt welding machines from the SF03/SW03, Standard, PA, SS/SMK, SZ/BSZ, S series.
The range includes conventional resistance butt welding machines, electric double butt welding machines with automatic deburring, the types SF03/SW03, welding guns and battery welding guns as well as series welding machines of the S series for joining steel, stainless steel, titanium or special alloy wires. STRECKER welding machines ensure precise, repeatable and strong butt welds.
Depending on the application, these are manually operated devices, or welding machines with pneumatic or fully hydraulic motion sequences.
Furthermore, a wide range of welding and annealing controls is available, e.g. NV time relays, LNV-V20/V30 or the FullParameterControl (FPC) control systems.
In the Standard and PA series, the machine is supplied with one clamping jaw set for the complete welding range.
SS and SMK welding machines are designed for wire connections of the highest quality and with documented reproducibility. Even wires with different diameters can be welded with a minimized heat-affected zone. The burr is removed in the welding clamping fixture and caught in the machine. The result is a homogeneous, very thin and pore- and burr-free connection. The SS and SMK series are equipped with our innovative FullParameterControl (FPC) control system as standard. The complete welding recipe is stored safely and with accurate repeatability in the controller. All settings of the machine are made automatically according to the recipe selected with no operator intervention. As an option, the quality of the welding process can be monitored with the STRECKER Parameter Monitoring system.
SF03 or SW03 welding machines cover the range of ultra-fine wires from 0.04 mm in diameter.
Welding guns and battery welding guns from the SZ/BSZ series allow use directly on your line. The machines can be used flexibly and are very easy to handle due to the reduced weight.
With the S series we focus on the requirements of our customers for the production of larger quantities using semi-automation. Of particular importance here is the direct interaction between man and machine in the feed and discharge steps, taking into account high safety standards.
